The MACRA/MIPS process.

Sampling  a maximum of 860 Medicare

patients ( regardless of the size of the practice) over a short
period of time is the means for determining the patient
satisfaction (formerly PQRS) component of the proposed
MACRA/MIPS regulations.

The mandated methodology is decidedly "low-tech" --
paper/pencil , multilingual and phone calls. The sampling is also
very expensive.  The data has no real-time management value.

SayAh does not do the sampling. Currently, there are

15 companies certified to do the sampling. The MACRA/MIPS
surveys are a regulatory device  that will determine Medicare
reimbursement and not a management tool.

The importance of being prepared.

When the sampling starts, it is too late to start fixing problems.

The MACRA goal is to change the reimbursement model from
fee-for-service to performance based. If the provider’s data is not
good, reimbursements will decrease and penalties will
accelerate. For 2017, there is a top to bottom swing in
reimbursement of 26% (altering 2019 reimbursements)
increasing to 46% in 2020 (altering 2022 reimbursements).
These are dramatic swings and the survey results can be the difference

between a modest profit and a huge loss.

To achieve a successful outcome from the sampling, you must be
prepared. SayAh substantially increases the probability

of a successful patient satisfaction
score.

THE TIME TO START THIS PREPARATION IS NOW.

The MACRA/MIPS data ...

CMS will post the MACRA/MIPS results  to the web regardless of the outcome.

That posting is expected to be at least one year  after the sampling.

When available, SayAh can put the doctor's Medicare rating on the landing

page if the customer chooses.

As a SayAh customer, you will already have large numbers of independently verified

patient reviews on your web landing page to create a far more accurate reflection than

the sampling process.

WITH SAYAH YOUR REPUTATION WILL BE

ACCURATELY REFLECTED ON THE WEB AT ALL TIMES.
